Global Tree: The Worldwide Tree Network > Network Tree
Elder trees often have a big cavity (see left) which in some cases has received a surgical treatment. The cavity arises because the heartwood rots away. In such cavities a display will be implanted that enables the visitor to see each tree of the network. He can select his favourite tree or country on a touch screen and the appropriate image of the tree will be displayed on the implanted display. A live cam which monitors the network tree, will hourly update its image via internet.
